The Winged Sentinel — a rather formidable guardian has taken up residence on the shelf.

A free-standing Baroque dragon statue, wings swept back over a scaled, scroll-ornamented body, built as a display piece in its own right rather than a wall-mounted bust.

3D printed in matte-black PLA, the detailed surface picks out the scales, wing membrane and scrollwork while keeping the overall finish dark and restrained. Subtle layer lines may be visible as part of the 3D-printing process.

Designed for shelves, desks, cabinets and other display surfaces where a bust or figurine would normally go.

Finish options

• Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge.

• Antique Silver — hand-painted with a light dry-brush over the matte-black base, so the piece stays mostly dark while the raised detail lifts into silver. Each one is finished individually, so no two are ever quite the same.

• Antique Bronze — the same light dry-brush treatment in a warmer metal, worked mainly into the raised highlights so it reads as handled and polished by touch over time rather than freshly painted. Finished individually, so small variations are part of its character.

• Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays. Pieces in matte black go out in 1–3 working days; hand-painted ones take 3–5, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative item for indoor use only.

• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.

• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.

• Place on a stable, level surface.

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.

• Handle the wings, horns and fine projecting details with care.

• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.

• Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal and form part of the piece's character.
