The Vigil Arch — Gothic Cathedral Arch Candle Holder, Gothic Altar Decor

The Vigil Arch — a twin-lancet Gothic window stands on end, a single candle cup rising from its peak.

A candle holder built as a miniature Gothic window: twin pointed-arch lights beneath a quatrefoil rose, the whole panel standing on a flat oval base with a single candle cup rising from the apex on a short stem. The window openings are cut fully through, so the piece reads as pierced stonework rather than a solid silhouette with a candle bolted on top.

Sized for a standard taper candle. As with any printed candle holder, the arch stands beside the flame rather than around it — see the safety notes below on keeping PLA away from direct heat.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays. Matte black goes out in 1–3 working days; hand-painted finishes take 3–5, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative candle holder for indoor use only — sized for a standard taper candle.

• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.

• Always burn a candle on a heat-resistant surface, within sight, and never leave it unattended.

• PLA is not heat-resistant. Do not let a burning candle's flame contact the printed arch, and keep an eye on wax pooling near the base of the flame as the candle burns down.

• Place on a stable, level, heat-safe surface, away from curtains and other flammable materials.

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth once fully cooled. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents.

• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish. PLA is not heat- or flame-resistant.

• Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal and form part of the piece's character.
