The Uninvited — A rather startled resident has taken its place on the Archive wall.

A sculptural Gothic wall plaque featuring a round-eyed white ghost surrounded by an elaborate Baroque oval frame. Sweeping acanthus scrollwork, a pronounced upper crest and an ornate lower flourish give the piece the presence of a peculiar little portrait recovered from somewhere slightly less ordinary.

3D printed in black and white PLA in our Dublin workshop, the raised surfaces pick out the ghost’s scalloped silhouette, recessed facial features and every curl of the surrounding ornament. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.

Designed for gallery walls, reading corners, Halloween displays and alternative interiors where ordinary wall décor would feel altogether too well behaved.

Finish options

The white ghost and matte-black centre panel remain consistent across the collection. Hand-painted finishes are applied to the raised frame ornament.

• Matte Black — our standard finish. A deep matte-black PLA frame and centre panel paired with the solid white ghost relief.

• Antique Silver — hand-painted and dry-brushed in our workshop so cool silver catches the raised scrollwork and moulded edges while the recesses remain dark.

• Antique Bronze — hand-painted and dry-brushed with warm bronze across the raised ornament, retaining the matte-black base in the deeper details.

• Other (message me) — the frame can be hand-finished in another colour of your choosing for the same price. Message us before ordering and tell us what you have in mind; we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Each hand-painted plaque is finished individually, so the precise distribution of the dry-brushed colour will vary slightly from piece to piece.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland. EU orders are sent from within the European Union and do not incur import customs charges between EU member states.

Pieces in matte black are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days because the paint and protective finish need time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative wall plaque for indoor use only.

• Mount securely using a method appropriate for both the plaque and your wall type.

• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.

• Keep away from excessive heat, hot vehicles, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight, as PLA can soften at high temperatures.

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.

• Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, particularly on hand-painted finishes.

• Handle the projecting frame ornament with care.

• Materials: black and white PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.

• Minor layer lines and small variations in hand-painted finishes are normal features of the production process.
