The Old Haunt — Retro Ghost Figurine, Halloween Ghost Relic Decor

The Old Haunt — A ghost of the old-fashioned sort, with no interest at all in being frightening.

A free-standing ghost figurine drawn in a deliberately retro style — the classic sheet-and-two-eyes shape rather than anything gruesome. The drapery falls in soft sculpted folds from the crown to the floor, and the hem breaks into curling wisps that lift away from the base.

It belongs to Ghost Relics, the collection the Archive has been running longest, and it is meant to be liked rather than feared. It sits happily on its own, or beside The Rafter Dweller, which is drawn in the same hand.

3D printed in PLA in our Dublin workshop, the matte white surface keeps every fold of the drapery reading softly while the two eyes stay properly dark. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.

Designed for shelves, desks and mantels through autumn and beyond — small enough to sit among other things rather than needing a space of its own.

Finish

• Matte White — the only finish this one comes in, and deliberately so. A retro ghost wants to be a white sheet; in black it stops being the joke and starts being something else. Deep matte white PLA, with the eyes picked out dark.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays. This one normally goes out within 1–3 working days.

Product safety

• Decorative item for indoor use only.
• Free-standing. Set it on a level surface where it will not be knocked.
• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents.
• Handle the wisps at the base with care — they are the thinnest sections.
• Materials: PLA.
• Minor layer lines and small variations in the printed finish are normal and form part of the piece’s character.
