The Night Crown — Something watchful has taken its place in the Archive.

An owl-inspired Baroque masquerade mask combining a long, sharply tapered beak with open almond-shaped eyes, an upright five-feather crown and sweeping wing-like feathers at the temples.

Dense sculpted scrollwork runs across the brow, around the eyes and along the cheeks, finishing in small curled ornaments around the lower edge. The deeply layered surface catches the light differently across the mask, revealing the relief while retaining the character of its 3D-printed construction.

Designed as a dramatic decorative piece for gothic interiors, masquerade displays, costume collections and rather theatrical gallery walls.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.

Masks in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, as the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative item for indoor use only.

• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.

• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.

• Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth.

• Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, particularly on hand-painted finishes.

• Handle the projecting beak, crown feathers and curled ornaments with care.

• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.

• Minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal consequences of 3D printing and hand finishing.
