The Hollow Sentinel — A scarecrow that has clearly stopped taking instructions from the farmer.
A standing scarecrow with a carved jack-o’-lantern for a head and a tall pointed witch’s hat sitting over it. A collar of straw sits under the jaw, the coat below is buttoned and modelled, and the skirt beneath breaks into ragged straw strands. From the shoulders a pair of feathered wings opens wide — 21.7 cm from tip to tip, the widest thing in the range at this size. It stands on a round moulded plinth.
It is the only piece we make that is both properly autumnal and properly gothic, which makes it the one that keeps selling either side of Halloween instead of only during it.
3D printed in PLA in our Dublin workshop, the matte surface keeps the layered wing feathers separate, holds the pumpkin’s cut eyes and grin dark, and picks out the straw strands through the skirt. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.
Designed for autumn shelves, hallway consoles and Halloween displays that need something taller than a tealight and better than a plastic pumpkin.

Finish options
Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte-black PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge, raised detail and recess.
Antique Silver — hand-painted over a matte-black base and carefully drybrushed so the raised detail lifts into silver while the recesses stay dark. Each one is finished individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
Antique Bronze — the same hand-painted treatment in a warmer metal, for rooms where black reads too cold. Finished individually, so small variations are part of its character.
Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.
Pieces in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.
Product safety
Decorative item for indoor use only.
Handle the wing tips, the hat point and the straw strands with care. Lift the piece by its base rather than its wings.
Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.
Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
Minor layer lines and small variations in the printed or hand-painted finish are normal and form part of the piece’s character.
