The Familiar's Ward — a black cat in a pointed witch's hat, red-eyed and watchful inside a glitter-flecked frame.

A seated cat, tail curled around its paws, wears a wide-brimmed witch's hat with a buckled band. The eyes and tip of the nose are picked out in a contrasting colour against the piece's glitter-flecked purple-black finish, and the whole figure sits raised on a solid oval backplate inside a ribboned Gothic border.

This is a more graphic, illustrative sculpt than the animal-head plaques elsewhere in this batch — flatter relief, bolder silhouette — aimed at the Halloween season rather than the year-round Gothic range.

There is no open aperture; the cat sits forward of a solid backplate.

Mounting

Designed to hang on a wall. No mounting hardware is included — fix using a picture hook, screw or adhesive strip suited to the piece's weight and your wall type.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays. Matte black goes out in 1–3 working days; hand-painted finishes take 3–5, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative wall piece for indoor use only.

• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.

• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.

• Fix securely to a solid wall with an appropriate fixing for the piece's weight.

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.

• Handle projecting relief detail with care.

• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.

• Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal and form part of the piece's character.
