The Anatomist's Study — an anatomical skull, jaw set and eye sockets deep, raised on a plain cylindrical plinth.

A human skull, modelled with genuine anatomical detail through the cranial sutures, orbital bone and dentition, mounted on a plain black plinth in place of a jaw-and-neck bust format. The stand is a simple cylindrical base rather than an ornamental pedestal, keeping full attention on the skull itself.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays. Matte black goes out in 1–3 working days; hand-painted finishes take 3–5, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative display piece for indoor use only.

• Not a toy, despite the subject matter. Keep away from young children.

• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.

• Place on a stable, level surface.

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents.

• Handle the raised facial and cranial detail with care.

• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.

• Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal and form part of the piece's character.
