Memento Mori — Baroque Skull Masquerade Mask, Halloween Mask, Hand-Painted

A richly sculpted relic for masquerade styling, gothic interiors and collectors of the macabre.

Memento Mori — A broad skull form emerges beneath dense Baroque scrollwork, transforming a familiar symbol of mortality into an elaborate statement piece.

The mask features large open eye sockets, a pronounced nasal cavity, sculpted cheekbones and a defined upper jaw lined with individually modelled teeth. Flowing acanthus-inspired ornament curls across the forehead, temples, cheeks, nose and jaw, with deep raised relief creating dramatic shifts of light and shadow.

Wide, wraparound side panels give the mask a commanding sense of depth when viewed from different angles. The ornament is sculpted directly into the solid mask surface rather than formed as openwork, preserving the substantial character of the skull.

Each mask is produced in 3D-printed PLA and carefully prepared in our Dublin workshop. Choose the understated depth of matte black or one of our hand-painted dry-brushed finishes, which highlights the raised ornament while leaving the recessed details dark.

Production

Each mask is individually printed and prepared to order.

Our metallic finishes are painted and dry-brushed by hand. Subtle variations in tone and highlight placement are a natural result of this process, making every hand-finished mask slightly different.

Finish Options

• Matte Black — Our standard finish. Matte-black PLA holds the shadows while controlled highlights reveal the sculpted edges, facial structure and flowing ornamentation.

• Antique Bronze — Hand-painted and dry-brushed in our workshop. Warm bronze highlights lift the raised scrollwork, teeth and facial contours while the deep recesses remain dark. Each mask is finished individually, so no two are precisely alike.

• Antique Silver — Hand-painted and dry-brushed in our workshop. Restrained silver highlights define the facial contours, teeth and Baroque scrollwork while preserving the dark underlying finish.

Matte-black masks are normally dispatched within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted masks take 3–5 working days, allowing the paint and protective finish time to dry properly between coats.

Product Safety

• This product is not protective equipment.

• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.

• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight, as PLA can soften at high temperatures.

• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.

• Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, particularly on hand-painted finishes.

• Handle the teeth, edges and raised ornamentation with care.

• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.

• Minor layer lines and small variations are normal characteristics of 3D printing and hand finishing.
