The Crowned Wyrm — Wings up, head forward, and a shelf held out on two sets of claws.
A wall-mounted dragon with its wings raised and curling in at the tips, a horned head thrust forward over the ledge and two clawed forelimbs reaching up to carry it. The wing membranes are fully ribbed and the leading edges finish in hooked spurs. It is the widest and deepest of the shelves — the wings put it 24.5 cm across and 11.1 cm off the wall.
3D printed in PLA in our Dublin workshop, the matte surface holds the ribbing across both wing membranes and keeps the horns, brow ridges and the claws reading as separate hard edges. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.
Designed for the wall above a desk or a bed — and if you already own one of our dragon shelves, this is the one that reads differently, because the wings go up rather than out.

What it will hold
This is a light-load display ledge, not a structural shelf. It is made for small ornaments, curios, candles, crystals and lightweight decorative objects, and it is not intended for books, heavy objects or any load-bearing use. Product photographs are dressed with props to give a sense of scale — treat those as staging rather than a loading guide.
Mounting
Wall fixings are not included. Choose screws, plugs and fittings appropriate to your wall type, check the mounting surface is sound before fitting, and use a fixing rated comfortably above the weight of the piece and whatever you set on it. Adult installation recommended.
Finish options
Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte-black PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge, raised detail and recess.
Bronze & Silver — our two-tone finish, hand-painted here over a black base: the horns, wing spurs and claws drybrushed in aged silver, the wing membranes and scales lifted in warm bronze. Each one is done individually, so no two are ever quite the same. The ledge itself stays matte black.
Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.
Pieces in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.
Handle fine projecting details with care.
Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
Minor layer lines and small variations in the printed or hand-painted finish are normal and form part of the piece’s character.

Every piece gets checked before it is packed. If something turns up damaged, or simply is not what you were hoping for, please send us a message — we are a two-person workshop and would far rather hear from you and put it right.
