The Perched Omen — Winged Raven Figurine, Gothic Corvid Shelf Decor
The Perched Omen — Caught at the moment the wings go up and before anything else happens.
A raven with both wings raised and fully spread, head turned to one side, beak closed. The breast and wing coverts are worked in overlapping feather layers, and the tail feathers sweep down and gather into a twisting column that meets a round turned plinth.
It is the smallest and lightest of our free-standing pieces, and the twisting column under the tail is what makes it work — instead of a bird stuck on a base it reads as one continuous movement from the plinth up.
3D printed in PLA in our Dublin workshop, the matte surface separates every layer of feather through the breast and wings, and keeps the twist beneath the tail reading as carved motion rather than a support. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.
Designed for desks, bookshelves and reading corners, and for anyone assembling a small parliament of corvids rather than one large one.

Finish options
Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte-black PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge, raised detail and recess.
Antique Silver — hand-painted over a matte-black base and carefully drybrushed so the raised detail lifts into silver while the recesses stay dark. Each one is finished individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
Antique Bronze — the same hand-painted treatment in a warmer metal, for rooms where black reads too cold. Finished individually, so small variations are part of its character.
Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.
Pieces in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.
Product safety
Decorative item for indoor use only.
The wing tips and the beak are the thinnest sections — handle them with care and lift the piece by its base.
Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.
Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
Minor layer lines and small variations in the printed or hand-painted finish are normal and form part of the piece’s character.
