The Moonlit Hare — It is listening to something you cannot hear.
A full-face hare masquerade mask with two tall upright ears filled with pierced Baroque scrollwork, so light passes through the carving rather than stopping at it.
Acanthus ornament sweeps across the brow and down the cheeks, and the muzzle is properly modelled, with a defined nose and mouth beneath the eye openings. Alert rather than sweet.
Designed as alternative gothic home decor with a lunar and woodland turn — a wall piece, a stand piece, or a shelf piece.

Size, and wearing it
This is a decorative mask, made as a display piece rather than a fitted one. It measures 17.2 cm at its widest. Most of our masks fit an average face, though the fit varies by design.
If you intend to wear it, message us before ordering and we will do our best to accommodate you — we can add discreet mounting slots at each temple and include a band so the mask can be worn. Every piece is finished by hand here, so we would far rather talk it through with you first.
Finish options
Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge.
Antique Silver — hand-painted and drybrushed by us in the workshop so the raised detail lifts while the recesses remain dark. Each one is finished individually, so no two are ever quite the same.

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.
Masks in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, as the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.
Product safety
Decorative item for indoor use only.
Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
If worn, make sure the eye openings give you clear vision. Do not wear while driving, cycling, or near open flames, stairs or water.
Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth.
Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, particularly on hand-painted finishes.
Handle the ears and their pierced scrollwork with care — they are tall, fine and the most exposed part of the piece.
Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
Minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal consequences of 3D printing and hand finishing.

Every piece is checked before it is packed. If something arrives damaged, or simply is not what you were hoping for, please send us a message — we are a two-person workshop and would far rather hear from you and put it right.
