The Kept Secret — It looks like a skull on the wall. It is also where things go.
An anatomical human skull that mounts flush against the wall — cranium, brow and cheekbones sculpted properly, the upper jaw carrying long fang-like teeth and no mandible below. It is printed as a hollow shell, so the whole back of it is open: lift it off its fixing and there is a cavity behind about 8 × 10 cm across and roughly 4 cm deep at the centre.
That is enough for a key, a folded note, a ring box, a small stash of the sort of thing you would rather not leave on a shelf. It is a concealment piece, not a safe — there is no lock and no catch, just a skull that comes off the wall.
3D printed in PLA in our Dublin workshop, the matte surface keeps the sutures across the cranium and the hollows of the sockets and nasal cavity properly dark, so it reads as bone rather than plastic. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.
Designed for bedroom and hallway walls, and for anyone who likes a piece of decor that quietly does a second job.

Please note
Worth being straight about what this is: the cavity is open at the back and closed only by the wall the skull sits against. It hides things from a glance around the room. It will not stop anyone who takes the skull off the wall, and it is not somewhere to keep anything you could not afford to lose.
Finish options
Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte-black PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge, raised detail and recess.
Antique Silver — hand-painted over a matte-black base and carefully drybrushed so the raised detail lifts into silver while the recesses stay dark. Each one is finished individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
Antique Bronze — the same hand-painted treatment in a warmer metal, for rooms where black reads too cold. Finished individually, so small variations are part of its character.
Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.
Pieces in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.
Product safety

Mount securely using fixings appropriate for your wall type.
Wall fixings are not supplied.
Handle the teeth and the cheekbone edges with care. Mount it on a fixing rated well above the weight of the piece and whatever you keep inside it.
Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.
Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
Minor layer lines and small variations in the printed or hand-painted finish are normal and form part of the piece’s character.

Every piece gets checked before it is packed. If something turns up damaged, or simply is not what you were hoping for, please send us a message — we are a two-person workshop and would far rather hear from you and put it right.
