The Burning Vow — A devotional plaque for a household with slightly unorthodox beliefs.
An oval wall plaque built around a flaming sacred heart — bound in thorns, pierced, and throwing out a fan of straight rays behind it. A lily opens on either side, foliate arabesques fill the field below, and the whole panel is ringed by a deep braided border. There is a small cast lug at the top for hanging.
The iconography is traditional; the treatment is not. In matte black it reads less like a chapel and more like something recovered from one.
3D printed in PLA in our Dublin workshop, the matte surface separates the flame from the radiating rays behind it and keeps the thorn wrap and the fine arabesques below legible. Fine layer lines may remain visible as part of the 3D-printing process.
Designed for altar shelves, alcoves and hallway walls, and for anyone who likes their sacred imagery with the lights turned down.

Finish options
Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte-black PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge, raised detail and recess.
Antique Silver — hand-painted over a matte-black base and carefully drybrushed so the raised detail lifts into silver while the recesses stay dark. Each one is finished individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
Antique Bronze — the same hand-painted treatment in a warmer metal, for rooms where black reads too cold. Finished individually, so small variations are part of its character.
Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays.
Pieces in matte black normally go out within 1–3 working days. Hand-painted finishes take 3–5 working days, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Mount securely using fixings appropriate for your wall type.
Wall fixings are not supplied.
Handle the flame tips, the radiating rays and the hanging lug with care.
Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.
Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
Minor layer lines and small variations in the printed or hand-painted finish are normal and form part of the piece’s character.

Every piece gets checked before it is packed. If something turns up damaged, or simply is not what you were hoping for, please send us a message — we are a two-person workshop and would far rather hear from you and put it right.
