The Lorekeeper — A rather formidable scholar has taken up residence in the Archive.

A sculptural dragon bust created as a decorative display piece, with sweeping horns, layered scales, a plated throat and deeply draped robes giving it the presence of an old-world portrait rescued from somewhere slightly less ordinary.

3D printed in matte-black PLA, the detailed surface picks out the scales, facial ridges, armour-like neck plates and folds of the robe while keeping the overall finish dark and restrained. Subtle layer lines may be visible as part of the 3D-printing process.

Designed for shelves, desks, cabinets and alternative home displays where something with a little more character is called for.

• Matte Black — our standard finish. Deep matte PLA that holds shadow and shows every sculpted edge.
• Bronze & Silver — hand-painted, drybrushed by us in the workshop so the raised detail lifts and the recesses stay dark. Each one is done individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
• Stone — hand-painted, drybrushed by us in the workshop so the raised detail lifts and the recesses stay dark. Each one is done individually, so no two are ever quite the same.
• Other (message me) — the same hand-painted finish in colours of your choosing, for the same price. Send us a message before you order and tell us what you have in mind, and we will say honestly whether we can do it justice.

Made and posted in Ireland

Printed, finished and packed by the two of us in Dublin, and posted from Ireland — so EU orders arrive without customs charges or import delays. Pieces in matte black go out in 1-3 working days; hand-painted ones take 3-5, because the paint needs time to dry properly between coats.

Product safety

• Decorative item for indoor use only.
• Designed for light display items only. Please don't overload it.
• Not intended as a structural shelf or for heavy objects.
• Mount securely using fixings suited to your wall type. Adult installation recommended.
• Not a toy. Keep away from young children.
• Keep away from excessive heat, open flames and prolonged direct sunlight — PLA can soften at high temperatures.
• Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents, especially on a hand-painted finish.
• Handle fine projecting details with care.
• Materials: PLA. Hand-painted finishes also use acrylic paint and matt varnish.
• Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor layer lines and small variations in finish are normal and form part of the piece's character.
